MAC Makeup Classes – MAC Pro Info

Did you know that MAC makeup classes are available in plenty of locations in the United States, Canada, and even the U.K.?  Yes, it’s true.  But where exactly in those three countries can you find the classes is probably what you want to know right?  Well, lucky for you, we’ve scoured and dug and located the uh, well locations!  We’ll get more into that in a bit, but first we’d like to talk about the pre-requisites that are necessary to attend any of the MAC Pro classes available.

First of all, you must know that the classes are only open to students who are or will be attending an institution or school of cosmetology, makeup artistry, fashion styling, hair styling, or performing arts.  If you are not attending one of those schools already, don’t even think about trying to get into the program, it just won’t happen.  MAC offers a list of eligible schools sorted by state on their website, which is too much to list all right here, but we will give you a few to start with.  If you’re looking for MAC makeup classes in NY for example, here are some of the participating schools that MAC will accept you from:  New York Institute of Beauty located in Islandia on Long Island, Broadway Dance Center in NYC, The Juliard School in NY, and the Aveda Institute in NY.  There are others and that is just a sampling.  In New York there are a total of 20 participating schools.

If you’re looking for MAC Pro participating schools in NJ, here’s a few:  Paul Mitchell School in Hackensack, NJ, the Artistic Academy in Morris Plains, NJ, and the Concord School of Hair Design in Ocean Township, NJ.  What about schools in Florida?  Sure there’s plenty.  There’s the Boca Beauty Academy in Boca Raton, FL and the Miami International University of Art & Design in Miami, Florida.

Additionally, we’d like to inform you that not only do you have to be attending one of these participating schools, the individuals in charge of the MAC incoming attendees must also review the courses that are offered at your school.  You will have to send to them some important infomation such as the name of the Head Director of Programs at your school, the school’s address, telephone number, and website URL.  They’ll also want to know the length of the course you’re attending and the type of certification offered upon your graduation.  After you submit all of that it will take anywhere from four to six weeks for your eligibility request to be considered and processed.
